This is a screen test of Vivien Leigh for the role of Mrs DeWinter in Rebecca. Joan Fontaine was ultimately cast, and Vivien went on to make Waterloo Bridge with Robert Taylor.

Fire Over England is a 1937 London Film Productions film drama, notable for providing the first pairing of Laurence Olivier and Vivien Leigh. The film is a historical drama set during the reign of Elizabeth I, (Flora Robson) and focusing on the English defeat of the Spanish Armada.
